HEALTH CERTIFICATE SPECS
Health requirements differ by program. Review which applies to the lots you're buying or selling.
ELITE CLASS
All Elite Class cattle must meet our full health certification standards and be accompanied by a valid health certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian. To download the required Elite Vet Health Certificate, click here.
Must be vaccinated at least 2 weeks before sale with an 8 or 9 way Clostridium vaccine containing the following strains:

Chauvoei
-
Septicum
-
Novyi
-
Sordellii
-
Perfringens types C & D
-
Tetani
-
Haemolyticum
Must be vaccinated at least 2 weeks before sale with a killed or modified live virus vaccine containing the following components:
-
Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR)
-
BVD Types 1 & 2
-
Parainfluenza 3 (PI3)
-
Bovine Respiratory Synctial
-
Mannheimia haemolyticum
-
Histophilus somnus
Must be vaccinated at least 2 weeks before sale with a vaccine containing the following strains of leptospirosis:
-
Canicola
-
Grippotyphosa
-
Hardjo-bovis
-
Icterohaemorrhagiae
-
Pomona
Must be dewormed with an oral, injectable or topical dewormer within 60 days of sale.

Must provide completed Elite Vet Health Check form signed by the veterinarian and owner, including a physical exam and body-condition assessment.

STANDARD CLASS
Standard Class cattle have no vaccination requirement. A licensed veterinarian must still age and/or palpate the animal as required by its category and complete a Standard Vet Health Check form, signed by the veterinarian and owner, confirming ownership, tag identification, breed, age, and sex.
