Raised in the Texas Panhandle, Shay Johnson grew up in the middle of a family cattle operation and feed yards, learning the business from the ground up. Those early years shaped a lifelong commitment to the livestock industry and a deep understanding of what it takes to raise and market quality cattle.

Shay has spent years operating cow/calf programs and working across farming and ranching operations throughout the region. With more than 15 years of experience marketing cattle, he brings a strong blend of practical knowledge, industry relationships, and hands‑on expertise to the producers he serves.

In addition to his marketing background, Shay runs his own cattle operation, focusing on weaning and developing healthy, ready‑to‑graze stocker cattle. He also operates a custom order‑buying business, helping clients source the right cattle with confidence and transparency.

Shay lives in Canyon, Texas, and when he’s not working cattle, he enjoys tripping steers, roping calves, and spending time with his fiancée, Shelbi.
