Raised in Panna Maria, Texas, on a row crop and cow-calf operation, Kason Moczygemba grew up showing and judging livestock and started working local sale barns and day-working for area ranchers while still in high school. He went on to work for the Texas A&M Beef Center during college and served as foreman for a registered ranch immediately after graduating with a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2021.
Now based in Hobson, Kason owns and operates Moczygemba Land and Livestock, a commercial cattle operation and custom hay business. He runs his own cow-calf pairs - a venture of 10 years now - and has spent the last 5 years building a custom hay operation, all while helping customers find and source quality replacement cattle.
When he's not working cattle, you'll find Kason hunting, fishing, or auctioneering church picnics and charity events across South Texas. "Being in the ag industry has been the driving force behind everything I do," Kason says. "I hope future customers will see that my drive, determination, and love for the cattle and agriculture industry will help me connect with new buyers and maintain the relationship through the future." Kason brings deep roots, hands-on expertise, and a genuine passion for agriculture to every producer he serves.
